Mt K #2: Remembering the Teams throughout the Years

In this period when we are unable to travel and can only dream of doing so, we just wanted to go down memory lane and remember the teams and trips organised by On Mountains over the years.

Adventure #2:

Mount Kinabalu

Mar 2014

The 2nd group we brought up into the mountains was a group of friends and nurses. They had wanted to have their first experience and taste of being in the clouds.

We had a 100% success and safety rate

The typical trip process is:

1. All adventures begin with an introductory brief to introduce the location and trip objective. Questions and doubts and addressed and clarified before potential participants make their decision on their commitment.

2. A suitable training program and duration is planned to bring all participants to a suitable level of fitness and preparedness to successfully attempt the mountain.

3. During this time, the appropriate equipment, clothing and footwear are introduced, taught and acquired to ensure the proper protection against the environment and elements. This is to ensure the safety of each individual.

4. And lastly the trip itself. Each adventure is not only just about the summit. Each trip is organised with the purpose of also experiencing as much of what the destination has to offer. We celebrate the success of standing on the summit, but we also revel in the journey that brought them there.
